What To Consider When Choosing Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set:

Manufacturer - Our Egyptian Cotton sheet and quilt cover sets are produced by one of the largest bedding manufacturers in the world, which include but not limited to brands such as Calvin Klein, DKNY and Ralph Lauren. Our sheet and quilt cover sets are of the same standard of these major brands.

Fiber quality - There is a huge variety in the quality of 100% cotton sheet and quilt cover sets. The highest quality cotton is long staple cotton. Staple refers to the length of the cotton fiber; the longer the fiber the better because it creates stronger and finer yarns. Among long staple cottons, the longest are Egyptian extra-long staple, which our fine sheet and quilt cover sets are made of.

Yarn size - The fineness of each yarn is what the term yarn size refers to; the higher the yarn size, the finer the yarn. Finer yarns allow for lighter, more supple fabric. The yarn size in quality sheets is typically between 40 and 100, our products are made with 90 yarn size. Higher thread counts are created with finer yarns, as more of them can be woven into a square inch. They make a nice product that is not at all weighty or blanket-like.

Finishing - After the cotton yarns are woven into a fabric, the fabric needs to be finished. This includes singeing and mercerizing. The singeing process is vital, it burns off the tiny fuzz that can later develop into pilling on your sheets. Mercerizing is the treatment conducted under tension, in order to increase strength, luster, and affinity for dye. Bed linens of lesser quality may not be singed or mercerized.

Thread count - Thread count is simply the number of threads per square inch of fabric. These consist of vertical threads (warp) and horizontal threads (weft) woven together. Thread count is one metric that should be looked at when considering sheets. At BeddingCo, frankly, we don't even think it's the most important one. Please be careful of some loopholes behind the high thread count story.

Loophole #1 - The area size of the fabric in which the thread count is claimed can vary. For example, the number of threads in one square inch (a 2.54cm square) would be significantly less than the number of thread in a 10 square centimeters (a 3.162cm square). Our high quality Egyptian cotton sets are 1200 threads over a 2.54cm square, providing soft and delicate comfort. Some sellers will claim 1200 or even 1500 thread count but over a larger area (a 5cm or even 10cm square) which is a clever marketing ploy.

Loophole #2 - An extremely high thread count sheet at a very low price is exactly what it sounds like: too good to be true. This is not to say that you have to spend a small fortune for quality sheets, just don't fall into the thread count trap. Unfortunately, a lot of companies don't make it easy to be well informed. At BeddingCo, we do our best to present you with all the information you need to find the product that's right for you. We would like to encourage our customers to focus less on thread count and more on the other quality indicators (fiber quality, yarn size, finishing and construction). We believe you will get a better, more comfortable product that truly represents quality and value.

Hypo-allergenic - Hypo-allergenic Egyptian cotton is also anti-dust mites, mold and mildew resistant, deterioration resistant and odorless. Our Egyptian cotton sateen is a totally natural product with no chemicals so it's gentle even for young children.

Softness and durability - Provides a smooth and luxurious feel. Offers better breathability and absorbency to help regulate your sleeping temperature. Our Egyptian cotton sateen is a strong fabric that holds up even after repeated washings.

Warranty - When choosing your Egyptian cotton sateen look closely at the warranty and ensure it is manufactured by a leading brand name, this speaks volumes about the products quality. Warranties range from 1-5 years. We offer a 5 year warranty because our products are simply the best quality and will last the longest.

    Washing Instructions:
