It's taken me a long time to find a pure latex pillow not made in China. This pillow is made in Sri Lanka - a country where rubber is grown. and whose economy I want to support. Now for my incredibly positive and completely unsolicited review of the pillow.
All the politics aside, this in a FANTASTIC pillow. I'm sleeping so well I didn't even hear a fierce storm not long ago. My head hasn't felt the heat during some very hot summer nights. So very happy with this pillow.
That said, I do like a good firm pillow, and this fits the bill. It has a removeable cover so the latex gets a chance to breathe if needs be. It does have a slightly ammonia-ish smell, which is wearing off, and it's a natural rather than chemically smell. Very very very happy. with this purchase.
