Well, the first week I needed to air out the silk organic cotton doona because the cotton seed oil smell was, at first, very strong. I put it out for 4 or 5 days during the day to air and the smell totally dissipated, so there was no worries there, after all. It's the first time I had purchased organic cotton anything so was not aware of it as a product. Bedding co did offer to replace immediately but I wanted to give it a chance to save the hassle of return etc (not to mention the petrol for delivery etc).
Anyways even with that start - I am SO happy with the product. It is so comfortable. Beautifully made. I have needed nothing other than this 10C to 25C doona in a. doona cover and using a top sheet - at night. I Love it! I run hot and cold all night and this has been a game changer I am not hauling blankets on and off or having to rummage. It's just there, light but warm.

Organic Mulberry Silk Quilt | Summer Warmth Doona - Purchased 2 doubles in August 2022. We sleep Nordic style in winter ... individual doonas on a king size bed. Found that to be the best way to keep cosy and no partner disturbance. These quilts are amazing .... perfect for Gold Coast winters. Very lightweight but keeps us perfectly warm in the cooler months. Highly recommended.
