It is necessary for someone to be available to accept delivery for all larger items (those weighing over 5kg) as we use a secure courier who requires a signature as proof of receipt. Furthermore, our carriers provide a door-to-door service, which does not include carrying the items inside, carrying items up stairs, placement, or removal of packaging. For oversize items, current OH&S regulations with our couriers stipulate that the driver will require assistance unloading any items weighing over 25kg and we ask that someone capable of doing this is present for delivery.
If your order includes larger items or you are not comfortable carrying your items, we suggest having an additional person at the delivery address to assist with the placement of your items inside.

Down is the light fluffy coating clustered beneath the feathers of waterfowl that protect them from the elements. Most down can be found on the belly of geese and ducks, as this is the part that is exposed to water and must keep the bird warm. Down is a three dimensional cluster with thousands of tiny fibers, but no quill. In every pound of feathers, there are only four to five ounces of down.
As nature's most efficient insulator, down is warm, yet light and lofty. It takes 14 wool blankets to equal the temperature control of one down comforter. Additionally, down has the marvelous ability to breathe, lifting away perspiration so you don't experience the clamminess which often occurs with synthetics.

Feathers have quills and are two-dimensional. They are the rigid plumage found on the outside of waterfowl, and can range in size from 3 cm to several inches. Smaller feathers are often used in bedding products such as feather beds, decorative pillows, and various feather and down blends. In bedding, feathers do provide some insulation, but are mostly used for support.

Mulberry silk thread is the strongest natural fiber in the world, making it incredibly durable. A silk fiber the same diameter as a fiber of steel is stronger than the steel. The mulberry silk thread is also rounder, finer, smoother, and a lighter more uniform color than silk harvested from the wild where those silkworms have to eat whatever leaves and plants that are available to them.
Mulberry silk is also known as cultivated silk and bombyx silk but mulberry silk is the most commonly used term. It is also sometimes referred to it by its type which is thrown or reeled silk. If you want the most luxurious, most durable, and finest silk bedding, look for silk sheets made with 100 percent mulberry silk and for silk comforters made with 100 percent mulberry silk floss. Mulberry silk is 100% hypoallergenic and also being odorless and not needing any "airing out" before use like some of the lower quality wild silks.

Wool is a natural Insulator chiefly due to the result of elastic, crimpy, serrated fibres which form small air pockets in the fabric; these air pockets are the insulators. Natural insulating properties ensure wool quilts and doonas are practical in extreme environments.
Wool has a natural ability to breathe, ensuring you feel more comfortable over across a greater range of temperatures. Wool is also an Anti-Microbial Fibre reducing the risk of allergies and illness associated with skin pathogens. Wool is an eco-friendly, renewable, natural resource..
